It is a foreign funded private company which imports scrap from Japan, Australia, the UK and also iron ore from Australia, Russia, Ukraine, Brazil, India, Indonesia. Besides it deals with 800 kinds of products of about 1800 specifications. These products include gear steel, bearing steel, spring steel, die stee, high temperature alloy steel, high speed die steel and so on. It exports its products mainly to South Korea, Taiwan, Italy, Spain, Germany, America, Australia and Egypt and so on. In 2005, it exported 180'000 metric tons of steel products.
