AZER PIPE JSC

Azerbaijan Pipe-Rolling Plant was founded in 1947 in Sumgait city, on the shores of the Caspian Sea and is the firstborn of ferrous metallurgy in Azerbaijan. On the eve of New Year in 1952, the first pipe mill was commissioned - mill "140". In 1957 and 1959, the next two mills "250-1" and "250-2" were produced. In 1954, Open-hearth furnace smelted the first steel. In July 1957, mill-blooming "850" and tube billet mill "700" were commissioned simultaneously. The first Azerbaijan seamless steel pipes were made in 1952. Since then, the main products of the plant are drill pipes, casing, tubing, oil & gas pipes, as well as general aimed pipe
