US energy pipe prices

SteelOrbis has learned that spot market prices for US domestic API-X52 line pipe continue to be heard in the range of $42.50-$43.25 cwt. ($937-$954/mt or $850-$865/nt) ex-mill, whereas offer prices from Mexico, for pipe of the same grade, are still being heard in the range of $41.00-$43.00 cwt. ($904-$948/mt or $820-$860/nt) FOB Texas.

In terms of J55 ERW OCTG casing, domestic offers are also steady week-over-week in the range of $43.00-$45.00 cwt. ($948-$992/mt or $860-$900/nt), ex-mill, whereas Korean material continues to be offered in the range of $44.00-$45.00 cwt. ($970-$992/mt or $880-$900/nt), DDP loaded truck in US Gulf ports.
