Local Chinese seamless pipe prices have continued their stable trend during the past seven days. Overall trading activity has remained at a low level. While upstream billet prices have fluctuated with some slight downticks seen, most seamless pipe traders have chosen to keep their quoted prices stable. As for the week ahead, it is believed that seamless pipe prices will again move sideways.
Local Chinese welded pipe prices have moved sideways or down slightly during the past week. Overall trading activity is still sluggish. Upstream steel strip prices have indicated fluctuations on a soft trend, causing some welded pipe traders to lower their prices a little. As for the week ahead, it is believed that welded pipe prices may just fluctuate by small margins.
