Some traders slightly increased their quoted prices since demand has slightly increased after the holiday. As for the week ahead, it is believed that seamless pipe prices may follow a mostly stable trend.
Local Chinese welded pipe prices have moved down slightly during the past week. Overall trading activity has remained weak. Most welded pipe traders have chosen to slightly reduce their quoted prices in order to close more deals. As for the week ahead, since demand may show a slight recovery and since support from the cost side is increasing, it is believed that welded pipe prices may see some slight upward movement.
