As for the week ahead, it is believed that seamless pipe prices may continue their mostly stable trend.
Local Chinese welded pipe prices have mainly followed a stable trend in the past week, with slight increases also seen. Overall trading activity has remained weak. Upstream steel strip prices have edged up slightly, encouraging some welded pipe traders to follow suit. As for the week ahead, considering the support from the cost side and the weakness of the demand side, it is believed that welded pipe prices may just indicate minor fluctuations.
