Import pipe offers to UAE

According to market sources, Japanese offers to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for 2"-10" seamless pipes of B grade have decreased by $50/mt week on week to $1,150-1,200/mt CFR. Meanwhile, Chinese offers to the same destination for 4"-10" seamless pipes of B grade have increased by $10/mt week on week to the range of $400-410/mt CFR, while 2", 2.5" and 3" sizes of grade B can exceed the $400-410/mt range by up to around $30/mt. In addition, Chinese offers for 0.5"-12" grade B longitudinally welded pipes as per ASTM A53 or API 5L are at $350/mt FOB on theoretical weight basis. Meanwhile, South African offers to the same country for 2"-6" seamless pipes of grade B are at $635/mt CFR, while Ukrainian offers to the UAE for 2"-20" seamless pipes of grade B are in the range of $700-750/mt CFR, both remaining unchanged week on week.
