SteelOrbis has learned that import J55 electric resistance welded (ERW) oil country tubular goods (OCTG) casing offers to the US from Vietnam are unchanged since our last report a week ago and continue to be reported in the range of $910-$920/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.
Further, import J55 electric resistance welded (ERW) oil country tubular goods (OCTG) casing offers from Korea to the US have remained neutral since last week. Sources have confirmed that offers continue to be seen in the range of $890-$900/mt CFR FO in US Gulf coast ports.
Lastly, import J55 electric resistance welded (ERW) oil country tubular goods (OCTG) casing offers to the US from Taiwan are have remained neutral since last week. Taiwanese prices are still being reported in the range of $920-$930/mt CFR FO in US Gulf coast ports.
