Despite optimistic expectations of suppliers, the Czech seamless pipe market is still seeing sluggish demand from foreign customers. Given the lack of buying activity, mills have made no attempts to raise export prices over the past month, and even producers have been ready to offer €20/mt ($26/mt) discounts on their current prices. However, seamless pipe producers in the Czech Republic are quietly looking for hikes amid rising prices for raw materials and expected better demand in the fourth quarter.

Current export prices for 3"-10" Sch 40 seamless bare pipes (without varnish coating) of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at €850-870/mt ($1,099-1,125/mt), while 3/4" seamless pipes are at €990-1,010/mt ($1,280-1,306/mt) FCA.

Current export quotations for 3"-10" Sch 40 seamless pipes of steel grade B made to ASTM A106 from ArcelorMittal Ostrava are at around €880-900/mt ($1,138-1,163/mt) FCA, while 1" seamless pipes are at €1,000-1,020/mt ($1,293-1,319/mt) FCA.
