On April 9, SteelOrbis reported Venezuelan HBI export offers at $240/mt FOB Venezuelan port.
Sources inform SteelOrbis that the latest offers in mid-April were reportedly at $242-245/mt FOB but that no new offers are presently active as the month ends. A source added, “With strong but slightly softening scrap prices along with overall global uncertainty, I think HBI from Venezuela will remain rangebound.”
