Sources close to SteelOrbis report limited scrap supply availability on the US West coast as some exporters have withdrawn offers from the market and are expected to return in January as prices are expected to increase.

Limited offers to Taiwan are being heard for HMS I/II 80:20 at $255-265/mt Taiwan.  Several cargoes are said to have been booked at the $250-255/mt the week ended December 9.

Several cargoes to other Asian countries were also heard sold last week.  One for an average price of $270-272/mt CFR South Korea and another for an average price of $272-274/mt CFR Vietnam.  Exact tonnage unknown but cargoes are said to have been composed of mixed HMS I/II 80:20 and shredded qualities.
