US scrap domestic prices in Gulf region

Scrap prices into mid-August trended down $20/mt ($20/gt) across all grades in the Gulf region of Houston.  HMS I is at $228/mt ($225/gt), P&S scrap at $244/mt ($240/gt), and busheling at $264/mt ($260/gt), all prices delivered to mill in region.

In July, HMS I scrap was at approximately $249/mt ($245/gt), P&S scrap at $264/mt ($260/gt), and busheling scrap at $284/mt ($280/gt), delivered.
