US domestic scrap prices in some Texas regions encountered downward pressure

Sources close to the market inform SteelOrbis that while Midwest prices on cut grades traded sideways, in the Midwest, prices for HMS I and P&S declined by $10/gt ($10/mt) in the Houston market. Busheling prices, though, traded sideways.

A source noted that prices in the Dallas area “traded mostly sideways” compared to May, although, specific price levels were not provided.
