Two Turkish mills reduce ship scrap purchase quotations

Today, October 7, Turkish mills Habas and IDC have announced a $4-5/mt decrease in their ship scrap purchase prices, while others have kept their quotations stable. As a result, the general price range in the local Turkish ship scrap market has moved down by $4/mt on the upper end to $280-281/mt as compared to the levels recorded on October 1.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
