The Turkish ship scrap market has remained stable today, March 30, as compared to yesterday, with one Izmir-based mill increasing its ship scrap purchase price by $2/mt. The other producers have kept their prices unchanged, while Cebitas has returned to the market with prices at $385/mt. Before Cebitas decided to halt its ship scrap purchases, the latest price announced by the mill was $405/mt on March 19. As a result, the general range of the prices in Turkish ship scrap market is still at $380-392/mt.
