As anticipated by SteelOrbis, the Turkish ship scrap market has continued its increasing trend. Three of the Izmir-based Turkish mills have raised their ship scrap purchase quotations by $5-10/mt today, February 26. As a result, the general range of ship scrap purchase quotations in Turkey has increased from $400-410/mt to $405-415/mt. The rises in the Turkish ship scrap market are in line with the uptrend in the deep sea scrap segment.
