Turkish ship scrap market increases

Today, February 16, Izmir-based mills have raised their ship scrap purchase quotations by $10-15/mt as compared to Thursday, February 11. As of today, the general range of ship scrap purchase quotations in Turkey have moved up from $370-375/mt to $380-390/mt.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
