Turkish ship scrap market follows diverse trends

Today, February 9, the Turkish ship scrap market has followed diverse trends. While one Izmir-based mill has decreased its ship scrap purchase quotation by $5/mt, another one has increased its price by the same margin, while the others have decided to keep their quotations stable, all compared to yesterday. Accordingly, the general range of ship scrap purchase quotations in Turkey has remained unchanged at $370-375/mt.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
