Turkish mills raise ship scrap purchase prices again

Turkish steel mills based in Izmir region have again increased their ship scrap purchase prices by $2-5/mt compared to the levels reported by SteelOrbis yesterday, October 30, with the levels being corrected upwards to $250-257/mt CPT by three of the five local mills. Currently, expectations in Turkey for both ship scrap and deep sea scrap prices are positive.

In Turkey's Aliaga region the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
