Turkish mills once again revise domestic scrap purchase prices

Thursday, 12 September 2019 14:03:53 (GMT+3)   |   Istanbul

Turkish steel producers have revised their domestic scrap purchasing prices downwards for the second time this week. The key reason remains same – negative sentiment in the import scrap sector coupled with generally weak finished and semi-finished steel sales. However, despite the sizeable decline, Turkey’s domestic scrap prices remain much higher than the import ones.
