Turkish mills’ latest scrap bookings

SteelOrbis has been informed that at the weekend a Turkish mill concluded a booking for an ex-US scrap cargo composed of 20,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 at $408/mt CFR, 14,000 mt of shredded scrap at $413/mt CFR and 9,000 mt of bonus grade scrap at $420/mt CFR.

In the meantime, another Turkish mill has booked ex-US HMS I/II 80:20 scrap at $409/mt CFR and shredded scrap at $414/mt CFR.

On the other hand, a Turkish mill has concluded a booking for an ex-Baltic scrap cargo consisting of 20,000 mt of HMS I/II 70:30 at $380/mt CFR, 5,000 mt of shredded scrap at the price level of $410/mt CFR and 5,000 mt of HMS I scrap at $410/mt CFR.
