Turkey’s domestic scrap purchase prices have remained stable over the past two weeks. Some mills have increased their quotations by TRY 100-305/mt which was reflected in dollar-based quotations as a $1-6/mt upward movement. The rest of the lira-based prices have remained stable over the past week, with a $1-2/mt drop on US dollar basis week on week.  The general range in the local Turkish scrap market for the benchmark DKP grade scrap has moved sideways in the range of TRY 12,400-14,000/mt. Due to the fluctuations observed in the exchange rate, the dollar-based quotations have moved from $305-344/mt to $304-343/mt.
