As compared to April 26, two Izmir-based Turkish mills have cut their ship scrap procurement prices by $2-5/mt as of today, April 28. The general price range in Turkey is now at $425-436/mt, $2/mt lower on the upper end, both for delivery to mill by truck. The upper end of ship scrap prices is expected to soften further in the coming week in line with the downtrend observed in other scrap segments.
