Turkish mill increases its ship scrap purchase price

An Izmir-based Turkish mill has increased its ship scrap purchase price today, April 28, by $4/mt. It is observed that by this move by the producer in question has settled its price at the previous level of $392/mt again, after it had decreased its price on April 21. The general range of prices in the Turkish ship scrap market has remained stable at $385-392/mt as others have kept their quotations unchanged. Ship scrap flow is currently strong, SteelOrbis understands.
