Turkish mill buys three scrap cargoes

SteelOrbis has learned that a Turkish mill has concluded bookings of one ex-UK and two ex-continental Europe scrap cargoes.
 
Accordingly, in the ex-UK booking, the price of 20,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 stood at $350/mt CFR, while the price of 20,000 mt of bonus grade scrap was at $370/mt CFR.
 
In one of the two ex-continental Europe scrap bookings, 20,000 mt of HMS I/II 70:30 was transacted at $347/mt CFR and 10,000 mt of HMS I was priced at $371/mt CFR, while in the second cargo transaction the price of 35,000 mt of HMS I/II 75:25 was at $355/mt CFR for prompt shipment.
 
The transactions have been concluded just after the SteelOrbis Fall 2012 Conference & 67th IREPAS Meeting held in Munich on September 30-October 2.
