Turkey’s ship scrap purchase prices rise to $425/mt on upper end

Two Izmir-based Turkish mills have increased their ship scrap purchase prices today, May 5, by $5/mt to $425/mt. Since other local producers have kept their purchase quotations unchanged, the general range of prices in the Turkish ship scrap market is now at $385-425/mt.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
