Turkey’s ship scrap prices move up further

Turkey’s ship scrap purchase prices have increased further today, July 24, indicating a $3/mt rise. As a result, the general price range has increased on the upper end to $265-270/mt, for delivery to mill by truck. The total increase recorded in Turkey’s ship scrap quotations this week has reached to $10-15/mt. Cebitas, which has returned to the market after a long absence, has alone increased its prices by $10/mt, while the largest rise this week has been made by Özkan Demir Celik, with a total hike of $15/mt.
