Turkish mills have increased their ship scrap procurement prices again by $2-10/mt. The general range is now at $335-355/mt from $335-348/mt previously, both for delivery to mill by truck. The positive sentiment in the deep sea scrap segment is providing positive support for ship scrap quotations.

In Turkey’s Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:

Price ($/mt)

Habaş

All the above prices are for delivery to mill by truck.
