Turkey’s IDC hikes its ship scrap purchase price to $446/mt

Since SteelOrbis’ previous report published yesterday, September 7, Turkish mill IDC has increased its ship scrap procurement price by $1/mt to $446/mt, the upper end of the range of local mills’ scrap purchase prices. Other producers have kept their prices stable. As a result, the general price range in Turkey’s ship scrap market is still in the range of $430-446/mt.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
