Three Turkish mills increase domestic scrap prices

Today, December 17, three Turkish mills have increased their domestic scrap purchase prices, with the revision within the range of TRY 75-150/mt or $12-21/mt as compared to the levels recorded yesterday, while the other mills’ dollar-based quotations have increased by $2/mt in this period amid the slight appreciation of the lira against the dollar.

Accordingly, the general range in the local Turkish scrap market for the benchmark DKP grade scrap is still in the range of TRY 2,555-3,655/mt, while the dollar-based quotations have increased from the range of $328-469/mt to $329-471/mt.
