Several Turkish mills have increased their local scrap procurement prices, with others keeping their prices stable. The increase announced by mills is by TRY 130-300/mt or $7-19/mt, with the market generally understood to be signaling an upward movement.
Despite the changes, the general range in the local Turkish scrap market for the benchmark DKP grade scrap has remained stable at TRY 6,700- 8,300/mt ($356-441/mt).
