Ship scrap prices mostly stable in Turkey’s Izmir region

Domestic ship scrap purchase prices in Turkey’s Izmir region remain mostly stable. Only one mill increased its purchase price level by $5/mt, following the same move made by the other producers in the region last week. As a result, four out of five steel producers are ready to buy scrap at $270/mt CPT, while only the price of Cebitas remains at $260/mt CPT.
