Ship scrap prices in Turkey’s Izmir region stand at $365-376/mt

Turkey’s ship scrap procurement prices in the Izmir region have been revised on both ends of the price range. While one producer has reduced its prices by $6/mt, one has kept its prices stable. İDÇ has increased its quotations significantly and returned to the ship scrap market, but this time SteelOrbis has learned that Özkan Demir Çelik stopped accepting ship scrap. The general range is now at $365-376/mt for delivery to mill by truck.

In Turkey’s Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
