Ship scrap prices in Turkey's Izmir region mainly stable

One of the Turkish steel producers based in the Izmir region has decreased its domestic ship scrap purchase prices by $4/mt due today, February 26. As a result, ship scrap purchase prices in the region have remained in the range of $271-275/mt CPT, with Cebitas still being out of the market. Other producers are maintaining a wait-and-see stance for now.
