Ship scrap prices in Turkey's Izmir region increase again

Some Turkish steel producers based in the Izmir region have increased their domestic ship scrap purchase prices by $2-3/mt as of today, February 14, due to the positive sentiment in the import scrap segment. As a result, ship scrap purchase prices in the region are currently set at $262-265/mt CPT, with Cebitas still out of the market.
