Several suppliers, who have been in the import scrap market in Turkey this week, are withdrawing their offers for now to be able to give higher offers next week. Yesterday's price level of $ 315/mt CFR for HMS I/II 80:20 to Turkey is not available today, April 29. SteelOrbis has been informed that HMS I/II 80:20 scrap offers to Turkey are now in the range of $325-330/mt CFR. On the other hand, following a quiet week, Turkish buyers are still in no rush to conclude new import scrap deals, as they are waiting to observe the market trend first.
