Scrap prices tick down in the Taiwanese domestic market

Sources inform SteelOrbis that Taiwan’s steelmaker Feng Hsin (FHS) has reduced scrap purchase prices for domestically-sourced HMS I/II 80:20 to NTD 8,700/mt ($280/mt) delivered to customer effective June 25. A source noted that prices decreased approximately an average of NTD 400/mt in his region compared to the past few days scrap purchase price level on the grade.
