On July 13, SteelOrbis reported offers from the US and UK for containerized shredded scrap decreasing to $365-375/mt CFR. Sources inform SteelOrbis that containerized shredded scrap purchases have remained limited and offers are presently at $350-365/mt CFR from a variety of countries including the US and UK.

A source noted that while interest is limited, offers are also limited as the price to sell is considered “not attractive for now.” Over the past two weeks, prices decreased $15/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $10/mt from the upper end of the same range.
