SteelOrbis has learned that the dock delivered price range for HMS I/II 80:20 scrap in Philadelphia is now being heard at approximately $275-280/gt ($279-284/mt), off from earlier estimates at $280-290/gt ($284-295/mt). Market insiders said Philadelphia dock prices were off because of lower international demand for scrap and as low-priced billet continues to weigh on US export scrap markets.
