On August 8, SteelOrbis reported that scrap offers on containerized shredded scrap to Pakistan from the EU and UK were stable at $355-360/mt CFR Pakistan.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that offer prices have trended down to $340-350/mt CFR Pakistan on ex-EU and ex-UK containerized shredded scrap. Prices declined $15/mt from the bottom of the range and $10/mt from the top of the same range. Additionally, a source stated that domestic scrap prices dropped sharply in Pakistan, therefore making domestic sources more attractive than imported scrap for the moment.
