Only Kardemir revises local Turkish scrap purchase price since Friday

Domestic scrap purchase prices in Turkey have remained mostly stable since Friday, June 26, except for local mill Kardemir’s quotations due to the company’s decision to cut its prices by TRY 30/mt or $4/mt on Saturday. As a result, the benchmark DKP grade scrap quotations in Turkey are now standing in the range of TRY 1,640-2,015/mt which equals $239-294/mt.
