One Turkish mill suspends ship scrap purchases

Today, April 6, most mills in Turkey’s Izmir region have kept their ship scrap purchase prices stable as compared to SteelOrbis’ report published on Friday, April 3, while one mill has increased its prices by $10/mt. As a result, ship scrap purchase prices in the region are now at $208-218/mt, for delivery to mill by truck. It is also heard that İzmir Demir Celik (IDC) has suspended its ship scrap purchases again.
