One Turkish mill hikes its ship scrap purchase price significantly

An Izmir-based Turkish mill has increased its ship scrap purchase price today, April 30, by $28/mt. The general range of prices in the Turkish ship scrap market has moved up to $385-420/mt as other local mills have kept their quotations unchanged.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
