New adjustments in ship scrap prices in Turkey's Izmir region

Some Turkish steel producers based in the Izmir region have increased their domestic ship scrap purchase prices by $1-2/mt this week due to stronger import scrap prices. As a result, ship scrap purchase prices in the region are currently set at $264-265/mt CPT, with Cebitas still out of the market.

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
