Local French scrap prices down in September from August levels

In September this year, local French steel scrap prices have continued to decrease, declining by €16/mt ($18/mt) on average compared to August, according to the latest data issued by the French Steel Federation (FFA).
 
On year-on-year basis, in September local French scrap prices decreased by a significant €79/mt ($88/mt) on average, as shown in the following table:
