Turkish domestic scrap purchase prices have increased over the past week by TRY 100-300/mt or $2-7/mt on the lower end, while the mills that kept their lira-based prices stable also issued unchanged dollar-based prices. The general range in the local Turkish scrap market for the benchmark DKP grade scrap has moved up by TRY 500/mt on the lower end to the range of TRY 13,300-14,600/mt. Due to the slight fluctuations observed in the exchange rate, the dollar-based quotations have moved up by $12/mt on the lower end to $317-348/mt.
