Turkish mills continue to revise their domestic scrap quotations upwards. Against the backdrop of the rises recorded in the deep sea scrap segment, today’s revisions by some Turkish mills have been in the range of TRY 100-170/mt or $15-24/mt. Other mills’ prices have remained stable but due to the slight change in the exchange rate these mills’ dollar-based prices have increased by $2/mt. As a result, the general range in the local Turkish scrap market for the benchmark DKP grade scrap has reached TRY 2,250-2,770/mt or $289-356/mt.
