Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 9

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have increased by INR 1,050/mt ($17/mt) to INR 22,400/mt ($361/mt) ex-yard over the past week, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have increased by INR 1,300/mt ($21/mt) over the same period to INR 25,700/mt ($414/mt) ex-yard.
