Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have declined by INR 200/mt ($3/mt) to INR 18,900/mt ($287/mt) ex-yard over the past week, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved sideways over the same period at INR 21,700/mt ($327/mt) ex-yard.
