Local scrap quotations in Indian market - week 28

Local market sources report that domestic scrap prices in western India (Alang) have decreased by INR 200/mt over the past week to INR 21,000/mt ($325/mt) ex-yard, while prices in northern India (Mandi Govindgarh) have moved up by INR 1,900/mt over the same period to INR 22,600/mt ($350/mt) ex-yard.

Meanwhile, ex-Europe HMS I/II 80:20 scrap prices for India have decreased by $5/mt week on week to $290/mt CFR.
